AUCTION HELD INDOORS - www.rgilliganauctions.com

Auction to Benefit the Tussey Mountain 4-H Rifle Club.  I am personally putting together this auction to raise funds for the Tussey Mountain 4-H Club.  This 4-H Club is run by two great organizational leaders Bill and Jana Peters.  The Peters donate their time on a weekly basis to help our local children & teenagers.  Dan Hawk, a retired State Policeman donates his time as well each week as the range master.  In addition, Mr. Gib Moyer donates his time and coaches the air rifle team. The Club meets at the Outdoor Sportsman Club on Purdue Mountain every Wednesday evening from 6-8 PM from September thru mid November and again from January thru the end of April.  The Club provides instruction on firearm safety and marksmanship using the Daisy Avanti Competition Model BB gun.  This 4-H rifle club provides opportunities for the youth to move up to sporter and precision air rifles as they grow and mature in the sport.  Anyone reading this is welcome to stop by the club’s practice any Wednesday evening.

Now to the point, I have helped raise millions of dollars for local organizations by donating my time through auctioneering.  I would like to help this club raise money to purchase supplies, new equipment, and to assist with the cost to attend overnight matches.

I would like for any of you to help this club by donation items to be auctioned.  ALL MONEY raised will be deposited into this club’s account.  The auctioneering, clerks, cashiers, will be provided so that all proceeds will go to the club.

If you would like to donate something to be auctioned, please email us at rgilligan1@aol.com as soon as possible so the item or items can be advertised with recognition if you would like to be recognized.

UPDATE:

The 4H rifle Program swill resume on Wednesday September 12th  @6 PM

Open to all young adults ages 8 - 18

OSC is privileged to  host the Tussy Mountain 4H Rifle Club, every Wednesday night starting in September. We are actively looking for boys and girls between the ages of 8 and 16 that would like to participate in the rifle shooting sports.

All activities are conducted under strict adult supervision by certified shooting instructors and parents are both welcomed and encouraged to participate in the program.

Equipment costs are minimal and scholarships and loaner equipment is available for those need it.

This is a great opportunity for kids to learn firearm safety and marksmanship skills. The Tussy Mtn 4H club has been teaching kids rifle marksmanship for over 30 years, with many of the kids going on to become world class adult competitors in the shooting sports.

Practice is currently being held on the Indoor Range at OSC, Wednesday nights from 6:00 pm - 8:30 PM
