About Us

The Outdoor Sportsman’s Club is a private club located on top of Purdue Mountain in Centre County Pennsylvania between Bellefonte and State College. The goal of the club is to provide a safe place for members and their guests to shoot and develop their shooting skills. Outdoor ranges are open to members and their guests between the hours of 8 am and sunset. Many of the club’s events are open to the public. Check the calendar for contact information. Member meetings are the third Tuesday of the month starting at 7:00 pm. Read more about the club!

OSC offers to its members and guests an impressive collection of well-maintained indoor and outdoor ranges to support multiple disciplines of shooting, whether it's rifle, pistol, shotgun, or archery.

Club Events

Most events that are held at OSC are open to the public! Events are held year-round and are a fun way to get to know people and improve your skills in a safe setting. Also, check the calendar for event details!

Centre Hall Gun Show

The Spring gun show is coming up on April 20 and 21 from 9 am to 3 pm each day. Gun show will be held at the Grange Fair Grounds. Next Show – April 20 & 21 2024

PSU Rifle Club extended to 1 pm this Sunday

The PSU Rifle Club will be on the indoor range until 1pm this Sunday, February 4. Future dates will keep the 12pm end time unless otherwise requested.

Indoor Three Position Smallbore Shoots

Shooting every Monday from February 26th to April 22nd, 2024. Indoor Three Position Smallbore Gear Adjustment Days

There will be two gear adjustment days, one February 3rd and the other February 17th, from 10:00 AM until noon in the indoor range. Shooters will be assisted with shooting positions and suggested gear. Emphasis will be placed on sling selection, sling assembly, and sling adjustment for each position.
