The Outdoor Sportsman's Club is a private membership-limited club located in Centre county Pennsylvania between Bellefonte and State College on top of Purdue mountain.
The goal of the club is to provide a safe, friendly, fun place for members and their guests to shoot and develop their shooting skills. We have activities and events throughout the year that appeal to most shooting sports, some of which are open to non-members.
Membership renewels are now CLOSED, If you forgot to Renew, you will have to contact the secretary and submit a new application.
OSC Frigid Finger Shotgun and CAPS Shoot
Sunday January 1st, 2017 9AM – 2PM
Trap shoot and, new this year, a CAPS shooting event
Traditional Pork and Sauerkraut Luncheon

Trap Shoot: $5 per round of trap, Relay signups start at 9AM.
CAPS* Shoot will be at the newly remodeled indoor range, each shooter gets 2 scenarios for $5. Relays will be on the hour starting at 9AM.
Lunch served at 2 PM ( or when everyone gets too cold)

Shooters must supply their own firearms and ammunition ( No Hollowpoints), eye and ear protection and holster. Shooters should be able to safely draw from a holster and shoot from 10 yds. ( Please notify RO if you do not feel comfortable drawing from a holster and you will be allowed to shoot from the “Low Ready position).
CAPS Safety Procedures :
When it is time for your relay, bring your UNLOADED and CASED firearm into the indoor range where you will be lead to the safe handling position and instructed to show clear and holster. NO HANDLING FIREARMS IN THE BUILDING EXCEPT AT THE SAFE HANDLING POSITIONS and as directed by the Range Officer.
Sporter Rifle League Monday Nights
Want somthing to do throught the fall and winter, come join us for Indoor sporter rifle Every Monday Night until Spring
If you have a .22 rimfire rifle, you can participate. We run two relays first one at 6:30. First Night is Free !
Tuesday Night Indoor Archery Practice
Come join us at The Outdoor Sportsman’s Club for Indoor Archery Practice Tuesday nights From 7:15pm - 8:45pm. Only $3 per night!
(Note: we skip 3rd Tuesdays of each month due to other events).

4-H BB gun and Air Rifle Youth Program
The 4-H BB Gun & Air rifle program meets Wednesday nights from 5:30 -8pm This is an excellent program that teaches firearm safety and marksmanship. Open to all Boys and Girls 8-18.

The 5 Gal Buckets on the ranges are for Fired BRASS cases Only.
Please dispose of steel, aluminum or unfired rounds in the garbage cans.
The presence of Steel or aluminum cases significantly reduce the price we can get when the brass is sold for scrap.
We have 3 voucher opportunities to pick the steel and aluminum cases out of the existing buckets
